Seven year old
Seven years ago, which seems like yesterday, I brought you home from the hospital. I was the happiest man on earth, and the was terrified. I was in love as soon as I hold you the first time – tiny sweet girls, and I was terrified not knowing what should I do.
And seven years pass so fast – and I know you better, and love you even more. And yet I’m still, or even more, terrified. I don’t know what wisdom I can give, I don’t know how to be the perfect parent and I don’t know how to protect you from all these things that life brings. I only know that you you fill my heath with joy and pride and I want to wish you happy seventh birthday.
